
About the awards


The NAPA BALTIC Packaging Design Awards aim to assess high quality and innovative product packaging design created in the Baltic Region and publicise the best examples to various professionals and to the wider public as well. The exhibition of the selected best work will be accompanied by the NAPA TALKS conference.
The competition is organized by the Lithuanian Design Association (LDA).

Karlis Kriekis
CEO and head designer of DPJN brandrefresher / Latvia
Karlis Kriekis, designer who has experience designing packages for 30 years. He is the CEO and head designer of DPJN brandrefresher (www.dpjn.com), which means he knows his way around in the field of design and packaging.

Kinge Gardien
Founding Partner & Expert Circular Design at FutureLab & Partners / Sweden
With a background in industrial design engineering and strategic design, as well as experience from the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and Circle Economy, Kinge is currently a partner in the new accelerator FutureLab & Partners and a specialist and advisor in Circular Design. By facilitating the collaboration and adoption of new technologies, beyond 1:1 replacement, her focus is on creating concepts that add value to all stakeholders, and that accelerate the creation of circular systems.

Sasha Belyaev
Designer at blvd.one / Latvia
Multidisciplinary designer with work ranging from landmarks and typefaces to branding and packaging. Design co-author of several Latvia's culturally significant projects and iconic brands. Senior designer at Asketic for seven years. Currently designer at blvd.one with an emphasis on industrial design & 3D.

Ingrida Kirkliauskaitė
Packaging designer, strategist and member of the Lithuanian Design Association (LDA) / Lithuania
An extensive background in packaging design, user experience whilst being sustainably conscious. Freelance packaging designer, strategist and a member of the Lithuanian Design Association (LDA). 8+ years of experience working together with Lithuanian and international brands to create outstanding packaging and unique branding. Shaping visual concepts which both add value and empower brands to tell unique stories and engage with their audience more effectively.

Zeynep Yıldırım
Founder and Creative Director - roundabout / Turkey
Parsons School of Design graduate Zeynep Yıldırım founded a roundabout design studio (http://www.roundabout.com.tr) in 2013. The award-winning boutique design studio in Istanbul specializes in brand identity and visual communication. As a studio that believes in the value of tangible creations, roundabout has been moving ideas forward, transforming them into experiences, designing with intent, and creating memorable brands.

Anni Mäger
Creative director and graphic designer at Teavas Ogilvy / Estonia
Anni has been in the advertising industry since 1998 as an Art Director/Designer. Currently working in Taevas Ogilvy as Creative Director, she has worked with many brands (such as A. Le Coq brands, G4S, National Institute for Health Development, Purtse Brewery). In her spare time, she illustrates children's books (around 20 books) and lectures at the Estonian Academy of Arts. Sometimes she is addressed as "Mother of Limpa" by the Estonian Lemonade/Limonaad pig character.

Edgar Bąk
Designer / Poland
Edgar Bąk focuses primarily on brand and packaging design. Teaches graphic design at the School of Form in Warsaw. He co-edited "Projekt: The Polish Journal of Visual Art and Design" with Charlotte West for Unit Editions.
