The NAPA BALTIC Packaging Design Awards aim to assess high quality and innovative product packaging design created in the Baltic Region and publicise the best examples to various professionals and to the wider public as well. The exhibition of the selected best work will be accompanied by the NAPA TALKS conference.
The competition is organized by the Lithuanian Design Association (LDA).

Marko Salonen
Design Director at Bond
Marko is an experienced and awarded Designer, and one of the Partners at BOND. With more than three decades of experience, Marko is specialized in brand identities and package design, and has solid experience in strategic visual identity renewals. He has also gained international recognition by winning awards such as D&AD, Dieline, Red Dot, Rebrand and German Design Awards.
Eva Abdulina
Designer and co-founder of Gateris Works
Eva Abdulina is a graphic designer from Riga, Latvia. Graduating from Type&Media (KABK) in 2019 she has been focusing on type and its use in urban and interior space. In 2023 she co-founded spatial design studio Gateris Works that brings together graphic design and architecture to form a mutually beneficial practice. Teaching Letter Studio at the Art Academy of Latvia.

Beatričė Baronaitė Lau

Beatričė started her packaging design journey in 2019 at étiquette, where she had the honor to work with the biggest and most beloved Lithuanian brands. You might not know her, but you have certainly seen her work- the rebrand of Pergalė chocolates, the new look and feel for Utenos Radler, and of course the 1 million unique labels for Akvilė x Karolina Meschino water bottles, just to name a few. In 2022 she designed a concept and algorithm for Akvilė KIDS project, which was capable of generating more than 9 million unique labels- the first of its kind in Lithuanian design history! In her free time, Beatričė is also an avid illustrator, combining bright colors with over-the-top shapes and forms.
Uwe Melichar

Uwe Melichar is an independent expert in circular packaging and design. With his company MELICHAR Bros. he develops solutions for customers around the world.Before founding the company, he was managing partner of the design agency of the design agency Factor, where he and his team realised packaging projects for adidas, Bosch, C&A, Huawei, Gardena, Miele and other clients. Uwe is a sought-after keynote speaker, lecturer at several universities and has been and is a member of various juries such as Pentawards, Golden Pin, Design Europe and the Red Dot. Uwe cooperates with the design agency ‘touch’, London and is the vice president of the European Brand & Design Association (epda).
